Sister City Agreement Between City of Buffalo New York, USA and the City of Torremaggiore (Foggia) Italy
Whereas,	The representatives of the cities of Buffalo, New York, USA and Torremaggiore, (Foggia) Italy freely elected by the vote of their citizens, in recognition of the great success and excellent relationships established between the two sister schools Hutchinson Central Technical High School and Liceo Nicola Fiani agree to extend such a tie between our two cities respectively; and
Whereas,	We are convinced that the contacts between the citizens of our two fine cities will contribute to enrich cultural awareness and reinforce the bonds of friendship and solidarity between the United states and Italy; and
Whereas,	With this as our goal, on this day the 20th of April, 2004 an Act of Twinning is signed between Buffalo, New York, USA and Torremaggiore, (Foggia) Italy with the precise intent to extend the exchanges and experiences in the cultural, social and economic sectors; therefore encouraging a better understanding among all people helping to realize peace throughout the world; and
Whereas,	The success of this endeavor will be the responsibility of the Sister City Associations of each city with the support of the citizens of both Buffalo, New York, USA and Torremaggiore, (Foggia) Italy.
The foregoing instrument is acknowledged before us, on behalf of our two communities on this 20th day of April, 2004 in the city of Buffalo, New York, USA by the Mayors of the City of Buffalo, New York, USA and the City of Torremaggiore, (Foggia) Italy
